TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKINGS:
We are a small, family owned and operated business located in a regional area, as such booking amendments and cancellations impact us greatly, leaving us minimal time to replace cancelled or amended bookings. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy.
Customers can make reservations in advance through the online booking registration located on this website.
When making reservations, Customers will be required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number and email address.
Payment details will be required for all reservations.
DEPOSIT
- 50% deposit is processed upon booking.
- Balance is processed 7 days prior to the day of arrival.
- For bookings made less than 7 days prior to arrival, payment in full is required upon booking.
AMENDMENTS
Amendments can be made free of charge to bookings up to 7 days prior to the day of arrival. These include the following:
- Change of date.
- Change of duration (where permitted).
- Amendments made less than 7 days prior to arrival incur a charge of 20% of the total booking.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation charges apply in the following instances:
- 7 days or less, prior to arrival date will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking.
- If we are able to resell your room a credit for a future stay or refund will be provided.
- Greater than 7 days to arrival date, a full refund will be given
RULES
Customers are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner at all times when on the property. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in a customer being asked to leave the property.
Smoking is not permitted in indoors.
Failure to adhere to the requirements shall result in the Customer being charged for any and all costs incurred by the owners in cleaning the room (including, but not limited to, fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings) and restoring it to a smoke-free environment.
Animals are not allowed on the property as we are a working farm.
Guests should be over the age of 25.
Customers shall be charged for any and all damage caused by them to any property during their stay.
Food and Drink
Still Waters Retreat are happy to provide a breakfast hamper for guests upon arrival. This will consist of fresh eggs from our farm, bacon, bread, a selection of cereals and an assortment of condiments.
Access
Key access only available upon arrival
Your stay
Check-in is from 3pm on the day of arrival, and no later than 9pm. Check-out time is by 10.00am on the day of departure. In general there is no alteration of these timings due to the amount of time needed for cleaning, and any change would need to be negotiated.
- Your booking is for a self-catering holiday home rather than a hotel or guest house service.
- Bed linen and towels, toilet roll, soap, shower gel and shampoo are included in your booking.
- Basic breakfast supplies are included in your booking fee, as are cleaning items.
- On rare occasions your host (or a cleaner or another maintenance person) may need to enter the house to undertake essential maintenance, cleaning or gardening, or for inspection purposes, during your stay. You will be informed in advance if this is needed and a time agreed so your stay is impacted as little as possible.
Linen
All linen and towels for beds are included and changed prior to your stay. If the booking exceeds 7 nights, then a linen and towel change can be arranged.
Cleaning
The property is cleaned by a professional cleaning service to a high standard prior to your arrival. If you notice inadequate cleaning you undertake to notify us within 24 hours, so that the issue can be rectified as soon as possible.
CCTV
The property has CCTV cameras at front car park and the south side of the cabin, and these may be used to check how many guests are on the property and for security purposes.
Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, you are asked to:
- make use of the fire blanket and/or fire extinguisher if appropriate
- leave all belongings and exit swiftly through the main exit, ensuring all individuals that require assistance are brought to safety
- wait on the main road away from the building and inform emergency services by calling 000 and quoting your location
- contact hosts as soon as possible on 0412 690 891
Your Obligations:
- Guests are expected to keep the property clean and it should be left in a reasonable state on departure, including rubbish being placed in rubbish bins, and all dishes cleaned.
- Except for agreed guests no other people should enter the accommodation during your stay, unless otherwise agreed. If any other people are found to be at the premises without permission you may be asked to leave.
- Guests must not smoke or vape inside the premises. You may only smoke or vape outside of the premises, and must dispose of all cigarette butts in an appropriate manner.
- Guests will not bring any pets or other animals onto the premises.
- Guests will not bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials or equipment onto the premises.
- Guests will not tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment.
- Guests must not remove, damage or destroy any property owned by the hosts. This includes damage to but not limited to walls, doors or windows.
- Guests will not create any mess that might result in damage to Still Waters Retreat.
- Guests will not use any technology provided in Still Waters Retreat or access any unlawful or obscene material.
- Guests must return door keys at the end of the stay, or you may be charged at least $150 for the replacement of the keys and potentially more if the corresponding locks need to be changed as well.
- Guests will not make any alterations to Still Waters Retreat, or attempt to make any repairs.
- Guests will not block or put noxious or damaging substances into the sinks, toilet or waste or soil pipes in Still Waters Retreat or allow them to overflow, and will immediately report any such blockage.
- Guests will not create any duplicate keys or share any key codes.
- Guests will use all equipment provided at Still Waters Retreat strictly in accordance with its operating instructions and not for any purpose other than its intended use.
- You must not light any candles in the property.
In making a booking it is deemed you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
